DaBaby delivers on his promise as he drops a new album titled "Blame It On Baby" at exactly midnight, April 17.

DaBaby delivered his third album on streaming services as planned, after the rapper earlier tweeted "This Friday!" with a shush and optical drive emoji last Monday, April 13.

The 13-track project features prominent names in the current scene, including Future, Quavo, Roddy Rich, Megan Thee Stallion, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Ashanti, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

"Blame It On Baby" is supported by its lead single, "Find My Way," earlier released on April 1st. The lead single featured a 10-minute music video showing DaBaby and his girlfriend, B. Simone, following a story similar to "Bonnie and Clyde."

A few hours before officially unleashing his star-studded album, DaBaby posted a video on Instagram explaining the tracks on "Blame It On Baby." He noted why he chose each collaborator and shared his experience working with these artists. The Charlotte native was especially stoked to work with his crush Ashanti and Megan Thee Stallion.

DaBaby then quipped that people do not know, including Ashanti herself, that "she used to be my girlfriend. No cap, back in, like '04, '05, swear to God." The rapper even included Ashanti's long-time friend and collaborator Ja Rule.

In a previous Instagram Live session where he had the opportunity to meet up with another childhood crush, Raven-Symoné, DaBaby also jokingly flirted with the "That's So Raven" star, calling her his girlfriend and referring to the end of the Disney sitcom as a breakup.

Before today's release of his third album, DaBaby first released an infomercial-style promotional material on Wednesday, April 15. The 1:35 clip asks the audience if they have been "in any type of accident, at any point in your life, and suffered physical or emotional injuries of any kind?" The ad then suggested to "blame it on Baby."

It then featured different people including James Rico, who is a member of DaBaby's Reel Goats, who "blames" DaBaby for his financial woes. The complaints vary from speeding tickets, getting shot at, breakups, and even getting their parents divorced.

The ad even has a hotline "1-800-Blame-It-On-Baby" people can call to "join the fight."The infomercial then tells the audience to know their rights and blame it on Baby before making the announcement that when DaBaby's new album drops on Friday, people can "stop stressing and blame it on Baby."

"Blame It On Baby" is the much-awaited DaBaby project after his critically successful sophomore album "Kirk," released seven months earlier. "Kirk" also featured big names such as Chance the Rapper, Nicki Minaj, Migos, Gucci Mane, Moneybagg Yo, and Stunna 4 Vegas. It was his first chart-topper for the US Billboard 200.

DaBaby has been up to a range of activities in the middle of the quarantine period. He recently appeared with Lil Yachty and Drake on the new single "Oprah's Bank Account," whose music video imitates an episode of the "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Their verses weave in and out the talk show format of the music video, discussing topics from Drake's ear piercing to his stand regarding mumble rap.
