Harry Styles is not in a hurry to categorize himself or his sexual orientation! The singer might be open about many things in his life - even his love life, but his orientation? He'd rather keep that to himself, as he should.

In a new interview with Better Homes And Gardens released on Tuesday, April 26, the "Watermelon Sugar" singer said that he believes it is a "outdated" concept to have to clarify who he is, including his sexuality. The 28-year-old musician made it abundantly apparent that he believes people should be more receptive and less concerned with how others identify themselves.

In response to the conversations he's started by wearing dresses and waving pride flags, Harry remarked that he believed it was reductive to attempt to categorize him.

"The whole point of where we should be heading, which is toward accepting everybody and being more open, is that it doesn't matter, and it's about not having to label everything, not having to clarify what boxes you're checking," he explained.

While he stated that he is not seeking to be labeled, he did admit that he has spoken about himself to his friends, but he prefers to keep his personal information to himself.

"I've been really open with it with my friends, but that's my personal experience; it's mine," he said.

It's unsurprising that Harry want to keep certain parts of his life private. Recently, the musician addressed why he kept his relationship with Olivia Wilde largely private.

"I've always tried to compartmentalize my personal life and my working life," he said in a November interview with Dazed.

Regarding his connection with Olivia, fans were ecstatic when the artist released the tune "As It Was," and a child was heard saying,"Go on Harry, we want to say goodnight to you!"

Fans speculated that it could have been Olivia's eight-year-old son Otis or her five-year-old daughter Daisy, but it was neither! In a new interview with Fan Breakfast, he revealed that it was filmmaker Ben Winston's daughter Ruby who is Harry's goddaughter.

"That streak of calling me every night before bed and I missed it once and she wanted to let me know that she was quite angry with me about it. And then I dug it up in the studio one day and added it to the start of the song, and it just kind of stuck. I loved it," he said.
