On the night of June 27, the Florida rapper SpotemGottem was arrested for daring to do this to the police — disregard them and even try to evade capture, on a jet ski, no less.

SpotemGottem, whose true name is Nehemiah Lamar Harden, is facing multiple counts, including dangerous watercraft operating and evading law enforcement.

The police report spotting the 19-year-old on a Jet Ski near the Miami Marine Stadium.

Reportedly, he was speeding dangerously close to other boats.

Instead of slowing down or taking in the lecture from the police that was surely coming, Harden allegedly sped up as marine officials attempted to stop him, almost missing persons in the sea

He is no stranger to being apprehended by the police though.

In a separate instance, he is also charged with felon in possession of a handgun and aggravated assault. The cops detained the rapper on July 16, 2021, after discovering him in a hotel room with an AK-47 gun.

And then there was another incident three months after.

SpotemGottem was shot in the hip while traveling on a highway in Miami early on Friday, September 17th.

He was driving a Dodge Charger on Interstate 95 when it was struck by gunfire, resulting in 22 bullet holes on the driver's side, according to a statement by Alejandro Camacho of the Florida Highway Patrol. Another man sitting in the car's backseat received gunshot wounds to both legs. Both Harden and the other man were sent to the hospital, where their conditions are stable.

The Florida Highway Patrol has no information regarding the possible gunman or their car.

Raven Liberty, an attorney for Harden, did not immediately respond to requests for comment at the time.

After Harden emerged from surgery, Liberty told the Miami Herald that this was not a gunfight but an attempt to kill him.

According to the Herald, the incident occurred two months after U.S. Federal Marshals arrested Harden in a hotel room for his alleged role in a June assault case using a lethal weapon. According to police, Harden and others approached a parking attendant about a $80 fee, and Harden allegedly pointed a laser-equipped gun at the employee from the backseat. He pled not guilty to charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and accessory after the fact.

In 2020, SpotemGottem rose to prominence with his hit "Beat Box." He has launched two viral follow-ups in 2021: "Beat Box 2" with Pooh Shiesty and "Beat Box 3" with DaBaby.
