The longtime manager of Ludacris, Chaka Zulu, was shot on Sunday in Atlanta and is currently healing from his injuries. The rapper has so far been silent about what happened to his manager.

The police reported that multiple victims were shot near the site of 2293 Peachtree Rd. This is according to an Atlanta Police Department incident report filed on June 27.

There were three adult guys who had been shot when the police got on the site. After being taken to a nearby hospital, one of the victims was confirmed dead. The victims' names have not been released by the Atlanta Police Department.

The incident report continues, "Homicide investigators responded to the scene to begin investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. This investigation remains active and ongoing at this time."

The shooter remains at large.

According to a tweet shared Monday from Atlanta news reporter Michael Seiden, "Former Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed just sent me the following statement on Chaka Zulu: We are fortunate to report that Chaka Zulu is in stable condition and recovering. The family thanks everyone for their well wishes and prayers, and asks for their privacy at this time."

For more than two decades now, Chaka Zulu has been Ludacris' manager. "Me and my manager of 14 years Chaka Zulu #loyalty," said the creator of the children's cartoon series "Karma's World" on Instagram on December 16, 2012.

Ludacris has released 11 albums on the Billboard 200, including two No. 1s and a total of eight top 10 albums, under the leadership of Chaka Zulu. Additionally, Ludacris has appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 56 times.

The rapper and actor has yet to comment on the issue. His most latest public comment was him revealing how he feels being honored with a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023.

After Paul Walker's tragic death, the Fast & Furious and real-life families of the actor have maintained a close bond. Walker's daughter, Meadow, in particular, has made a point of carrying on the tradition of honoring her father.

So it comes as no surprise that she has been welcomed by her father's on-screen family and the Fast & Furious producers. Meadow Walker and Ludacris recently had a heartfelt conversation as they remembered the late She's All That star.

Afterwards, Ludacris learned that he'd be honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2023. For him, it was the icing on the cake to be announced beside his late Fast & Furious co-star.

A "2 Fast 2 Furious" throwback photo starring him and Paul Walker was posted on the rap legend's Instagram account to mark the occasion, as reported by Cinema Blend.

He described the coincidence as "heaven-sent."
