Eric Church's new video for "Cold One" is here, and it's frosty.
Mostly filmed in a chilled warehouse that makes the band members breathe smog, the vid features Church as a beer deliveryman who laments a failed relationship.
"She had her feet up on the cooler as she put our love on ice," Church sings. "She grabbed a beer / Said 'I'm out of here,' / And walked out of my life."
The woman in question does not show up until well into the video, when she begins stealing cigarettes, beers and hearts from various members of the band. The song has somewhat of a dark musical tone when the chorus hits, emphasized by slide guitar.
A quick solo run speeds up the tempo toward the end before Church messes around on the final chorus.
"Yeah she had to leave," he sings. "Did she have to leave me one beer short of a 12 pack?"
