"Viva Las Vengeance" was finally released on Aug. 19 by pop-rock solo project Panic! at the Disco.

In May 2022, a website called "Shut Up and Go to Bed" was set up and hinted that there would be new material from Panic! at the Disco the following month.

However, this was followed by the song's announcement with the same name as the album.

According to Brendon Urie, the album is a "look back" when he was only 17 years old" and who I am now with the fondness I didn't have before."

"I didn't realize I was making an album, and there was something about the tape machine that kept me honest."

The seventh studio album was described as a "cinematic musical journey about the fine line between taking advantage of your youth, seizing the day, and burning out."

However, the new and improved band is only a one-person team now, as all previous band members left for one reason.

"Viva Las Vengeance" has mixed reviews, but one thing critics have been saying is that it all has that classic rock vibe from the late 60s, 70s, and even early 80s bands.

The album sounds like what Muse, Queen, and The Beatles, have released, while others said how some songs sound so odd.

Following the release of the "Viva Las Vengeance" album, Brendon Urie immediately started trending on Twitter, but for all the wrong reasons.

According to one Twitter user, they wish that the new album "flops so hard," so Urie "stops getting attention and he just fades away."

Another said, "Brendon Urie is just the male Lea Michelle."

A third person added, "Brendon Urie doesn't make songs; he makes mistakes."

A fourth person said, "Brendon Urie has absolutely lost his vocal edge, and honestly.... he must be stopped."

Why People Hate on Brandon Urie

People hate Brandon Urie because he's already 40 years old and singing songs about "make-up sex," which many people are embarrassed "even from an objective point of view."

Additionally, they think he has already lost his vocal prowess and should instead focus on doing something else aside from singing and making music.

Meanwhile, the other reason he's getting hate and trending is because of sexual assault allegations and accusationsof being racist, transphobic and homophobic.

The singer was accused of assaulting and harassing several minors in the last decade, and many TikTok users posted these claims against him.
