After an Instagram influencer claimed she had an illicit connection with the Maroon 5 frontman for months, Adam Levine has admitted to "bad judgment" but not to an affair.
This naturally felt infuriating for fans - some said they could not believe the poor excuse, while others cannot believe his audacity.

The artist responded to the allegations made by Sumner Stroh, who aired the alleged dirty laundry of the former "Voice" coach in a 15 million-plus watch TikTok video.
He shared that as of now, many rumors are currently circulating about me, and I wish to clear the air
In a message posted on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, he wrote that he has shown bad judgment by chatting in ANY flirty manner with anyone other than my wife. Still, he is adamanat that he's not having an affair and as such, the DMs exposed by the model showed that crossed the line.
He did not deny the DMs, but said they were made during a "regrettable" time in his life.

He also admitted to the fact that some of his messages were "inappropriate."
The singer added that the whole ordeal was already discussed with his family. He has already taken proactive measures to rectify the situation.
Levine has been married to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo since 2014, with whom he shares two small daughters, Dusty Rose and Gio Grace. Currently, the couple is expecting their third child, whom Stroh claims the singer intended to name after her.
This even prompted jokes now.
Right now, he shared that what matters only for him are his wife and family. He described himself as being foolish for landing himself in this situation and endangering the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest error I could have made.
Levine vowed to never repeat that mistake and said that they will emerge stronger as a couple from this ordeal.
Given Levine's prominence and influence in the music industry, Stroh stated in her video that she felt "totally manipulated" and "exploited" during their alleged connection.
Stroh said she had an affair with the husband of a Victoria's Secret model while she was young and naive.
To substantiate her claims, Stroh displayed purported images of flirtatious Instagram messages received by Levine, one of which is quite telling. Levine was asking her if it is fine to name his daughter after her, which felt insulting to the IG model.
Stroh stated that she "never wanted to come out" about the alleged affair, but posted the TikTok video after a friend threatened to go public with the allegation. In a separate video posted later on Monday, the influencer claimed that she accepted Levine's alleged advances because she believed his marriage to Prinsloo had ended.
"I believed that they were keeping it quiet to avoid the negative press," she said, before apologizing directly to the Victoria's Secret model. "I fully realize I'm not a victim in this. I'm not the one who's really getting hurt here. It's Behati and her children and for that I'm so so sorry."
