Shots were obviously fired between DJ Akademiks and Lil Baby in the past few days, and neither two of them are holding back with their hate for the other.

DJ Akademiks, the social media personality responsible for pretty much some of the most talked about issues in the hip-hop community, recently did it again and made it to the headlines because of his tirades.

In a Twitch live stream last Dec. 13, 2022, DJ Akademiks called Lil Baby a "retarded rapper," all while threatening the record-breaking rapper that he would "choke him to death." (via HiphopDX)

The big guns from Akademiks didn't stop there; he even publicly announced that he is willing to fight Lil Baby, presumably in a melee, despite him calling out rappers in the past for instigating such violence.

"I will fight Lil Baby for free or for money. I just wanna get in the ring with him. You ain't got no 4PF, n-gga. I will choke you to death, I will punch you in your face. You're not doing shit. Stop it. You're a fucking retarded rapper, you can't do shit. Stop it. Who gon' stand on that?" he said in the live stream.

Lil Baby, who was said to have been in close observation by law enforcement earlier this year, has been on the down low ever since he released his latest album, "It's Only Me."

"I'm putting this out on public media, n-gga. If Lil Baby really thought it was some shit, he'd be like, 'Yo Ak, this really get into it.' I've said this shit mad times, have you heard any rapper say, 'Yo Ak, well fuck it then, let's get it in.' Not one of these n-ggas, bro. Not one of them," Akademiks continued to spew.

Well, the threats weren't unwarranted, to say the least, as Lil Baby took the first fire on his tracks "From Now On" and "Top Priority" on his latest album.

"Akademiks know he ain't as rich as me," and "Akademiks, n-ggas think they can't get touched," Lil Baby rapped.

Apart from the violent threats that Akademiks unleashed on Twitch, he even mocked Lil Baby earlier this month, saying that the "Do We Have A Problem" rapper was suffering from Tourette's tendencies and is suffering from a Percocet addiction, among many others.
