The man who allegedly killed Takeoff during the shooting incident in Houston made a massive request amid the continuous probe into the case.

Police officers in Houston formally arrested a man named Patrick Xavier Clark, who has been accused of firing gunshots at a downtown Houston bowling alley following a private party in November. He is currently serving jail time on a $2 million bond.

But in legal documents obtained by a news outlet, Clark made a huge request through a motion filed in Texas on Monday. The papers revealed that the alleged gunman wants the court to reduce his $2 million bail and make it $100,000.

Clark reportedly could pull together the amount with a professional bondsman.

If approved, he pledges to stay with his parents after his release.

His attorney, Carl Moore, added that the accused man is open to wearing a GPS monitor and following the curfew that might be given to him by the judge. He also expressed his client's willingness to surrender his passport and follow the no-contact order.

His new request came after he asked the judge for money so he could hire a private investigator who could look into the case. He explained that he is not financially able to hire one on his own.

Takeoff's Alleged Shooter Maintains Innocence

Clark previously created a buzz as he pleaded not guilty to the accusations.

During a recent hearing, per Billboard, Clark refused to let out a word. But his defense attorneys revealed how nervous and concerned their client feels as he is being charged with crimes he never committed.

The representatives are set to hold a bond reduction hearing on Wednesday.

"He's being charged with something that he believes he's innocent of, so how would anyone do in that type of circumstance?" Leticia Quinones said.

Amid the development, the police continue their probe and aim to talk to other people who left the crime scene without giving a statement.

Before Clark got arrested, a 22-year-old man named Cameron Joshua was also charged with two counts of a felon - felony to possess a firearm and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

The authorities clarified that, while he was not charged over Takeoff's death, he notoriously became a convicted felon who "unlawfully, intentionally, and knowingly possessed a firearm at a location other than the premises at which the Defendant lived."

Joshua also faced jail time due to different charges, including Grand Theft, drug and credit card abuse, and tampering with a government record, among others.
