In an Instagram post from January 13, the singer Lisa Marie Presley's recent death is talked about, and a screenshot of a 2022 Facebook post about the COVID-19 vaccine is also included in this post to somehow relate the singer's death to it.

"The idea of having a normal life like we used to, going out with family and friends and spending quality time with them, motivated me to get vaccinated because I'm not only protecting myself, I'm also protecting others," reads the Facebook post from a user named "Lisa Marie."

The Instagram post has this as its caption: "Lisa Marie Presley. No Coincidences. Are You AWAKE YET?!?! Cardiac Arrest."

But this is very, very misleading. It is quite disheartening - as the singer's death is being used.

Before Presley died, a beauty blogger named Lisa Marie Borjas shared the post, not Presley.

There is no proof that the COVID-19 vaccine caused Elvis Presley to die. On January 13, Presley died at her home after what seemed to be a heart attack. But Presley did not publish the questionable post.

A beauty blogger named Lisa Marie Borjas shared the post in March 2022. She did so on Instagram the same day. The pictures of Borjas in a green top that were in the original Facebook post were cut out of the screenshot that is now going around. On the other hand, Presley did not talk about the COVID-19 vaccine on Facebook or Twitter before she died.

The singer's cause of death has not been said yet, and there is no proof that the COVID-19 vaccine caused her death. CBS News says that the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner put off determining Elvis Presley's cause of death. This means that they want more information about the case before they look at it again in the future.

She is the latest victim of a trend on the Internet that tries to link the deaths and injuries of celebrities to the COVID-19 vaccine. USA TODAY has already debunked claims that the COVID-19 vaccine caused the deaths of DJ Might Mouse and Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin. USA TODAY asked the person who shared the post what they thought about it. Both AFP and Reuters have shown that this claim is false.

Meanwhile, the singer's memorial was recently held and it was beautiful.

The memorial was called a "Celebration of Life." Jason Clark and The Tennessee Mass Choir kicked it off by singing "Amazing Grace" to start the event. Before Corgan played "To Sheila" and Ferguson paid tribute, Joel Weinshanker, Pastor Dwayne Hunt, and A.C. Wharton all said something.
