Despite her busy schedule filming the highly-anticipated movie "Wicked," Ariana Grande found some time to record her verse in an upcoming collaboration with The Weeknd as the latter teased fans with a short clip recently.

Taking to her official TikTok account, the pop star shared a video of her in what appears to be a home studio recording her vocals for the song.

"Wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14 hour day on set. This certain exception had to be made...." the singer/actress wrote in the caption.

According to Billboard, the musician will be appearing as a featuring artist on The Weeknd's song "Die For You." In her verse, Grande can be heard singing, "You know what I'm thinkin', see it in your eyes / You hate that you want me, hate it when you cry."

The Weeknd later reposted the video on his official Instagram account, only captioning the post with a teary-eyed emoji.

As of this writing, neither of the two artists has revealed the official release date of their collaboration, but fans are eager to hear it based on their comments.

"die for you remix can't wait to hear you guys's angelic vocals," one wrote, while another one commented, "Why is no one talking about the fact that she's editing this herself that's pretty impressive."

"Die For You" remix will mark the duo's fourth collaboration as they previously dropped chart-topping songs like "Save Your Tears" remix from The Weeknd's "After Hours" album and "Love Me Harder" from Grande's "My Everything."

They also teamed up for a non-single track titled "Off The Table" from the pop star's "Positions," released in 2020.

The recent teaser comes nearly a month after Ariana Grande addressed her fans after they kept asking her why she hasn't released any music yet.

In response, the singer shared a video of herself singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." In the caption, the pop star wrote, "wanted to sing you a little something but don't want to sing anything that is not "Ozian" at the moment :) keeping to my little bubble for now ... done with lots of love."

In the short clip of her singing, Grande's hair appears to be blonde under her oversized knitted sweater. Her new look is for the highly-anticipated movie "Wicked" in which she stars as Glinda the good witch.

The musician will star alongside Cynthia Erivo, who plays the character of Elphaba, the wicked witch.
