Not more than a month after Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift reportedly broke up, a report recently came out linking The 1975 rockstar Matty Healy with the pop music icon.

As of this writing, it has neither been confirmed nor denied that Alwyn and Swift have broken up after six long years.

Taylor Swift, Matty Healy Dating

According to The Sun, Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are reportedly dating not a month since rumors about her and Joe Alwyn breaking up came about.

The insider revealed to the outlet that the newly-minted couple is ready to go public this coming weekend when Swift comes home to Nashville for "The Eras" tour.

"She and Matty are madly in love. It's super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn't work out," the source revealed.

Not only did the source shock everyone with the new Taylor Swift and Matty Healy relationship, but it also shed light on what happened with the Joe Alwyn split.

Matty Healy Did Not Cause Taylor Swift, Joe Alwyn Breakup

Per the source, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn already broke up back in February 2023 but was only publicized this April 2023, "so there was absolutely no crossover."

More so, Taylor Swift and Matty Healy had been touring for the past few weeks. The source revealed that the two had been "Face-Timing" and "texting" "a lot," and she could not wait to see him again.

Swift performed last weekend at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, for three days, while The 1975 and Matty Healy is in Manila, Philippines, for a two-day concert earlier today and tomorrow.

"But as two international megastars, they understand the pressures of one another's jobs better than anyone, and are incredibly supportive of their respective careers," the source furthered.

The insider seemed to take a jab at Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn's relationship, noting that unlike the last one, the new couple is both "massively proud and excited" about the relationship as they "deliberately" kept it out of the spotlight.

Taylor, based on the source, wanted to "own" this romance instead.

"Taylor just wants to live her life, and be happy. She's told pals Matty is flying to Nashville over the weekend to support her on the next leg of her tour," the source continued.

Earlier this year, Matty Healy revealed that there was supposed to be a scrapped The 1975 feature on "Midnights," but it did not materialize.

Notably, Swift also appeared on a The 1975 show at London's O2 Arena in January 2023.
