Ludacris hinted at the arrival of his 10th studio album years after he dropped his last music project.

The rapper-musician has been making shifts in his personal and professional lives in the past years. Apart from his career in the music industry, he expanded his empire in the entertainment world by doing several projects, including KidNation, the Netflix series' "Karma's World," and an upcoming partnership with Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats.

Years after he dropped his last album, Ludacris is making his way to the spotlight by confirming the arrival of his new music project.

Ludacris' New Album Coming Soon

The 45-year-old "What's Your Fantasy" hitmaker appeared for an interview on the May 16 episode of the "Tamron Hall Show" during which he revealed the arrival of his 10th studio album.

The upcoming album will follow his last studio album, "Ludaversal," after he released it in 2015.

"We're definitely gonna get some music before the end of this year," he said, before adding his target release date. "I would say an album, probably next year."

Ludacris notably dropped hit albums in the past few decades, starting with "Incognegro" in 1999 followed by "Back for the First Time," "Word of Mouf," "Chicken-n-Beer," "The Red Light District," and "Release Therapy." The rapper also shared his "Theater of the Mind" and "Battle of the Sexes" in 2008 and 2010, respectively.

He jokingly told Hall that the project has been delayed due to the "Fast & Furious" franchise's shooting schedule. Still, his recent confirmation regarding the new album hyped fans even more.

Ludacris Receives a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Amid his busy schedule, Ludacris will mark a new milestone in his life as the Hollywood Walk of Fame is set to honor him with a star.

On May 18 in Hollywood Boulevard, iHeart media personality Ellen K will present the award to the honoree - whose real name is Chris Bridges. Vin Diesel and LL Cool J will serve as guest speakers as the public sees his star for the first time.

The award-winning rapper will be the 2,756th person to have a star, and he will score it in the category of Motion Pictures. The ceremony will be live-streamed live through the Walk of Fame's website.

"Ludacris has been a pop culture staple for many years," Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame producer, Ana Martinez said. "As both a rapper and actor, he has created some of our favorite music and film moments and we're thrilled to welcome him to our historic landmark."
