Bruce Springsteen is on what seemed to be his hundredth tour with E. Street Band when the singer suddenly tumbled over some steps.

According to reports, the 73-year-old singer was performing one of his hit songs "Ghost" when he took a misstep and dived into the stage in front of his fans and audience at the Netherlands' Cryuff Arena.

He stayed on his back for a while, perhaps waiting for someone to help him up, as the additional weight of a guitar that was trapped on his shoulder made it a struggle for him to get up.

However, when he was helped up by several security guards, he made sure to reassure fans that he was not injured.

Springsteen is alright, and showed no sign that the fall caused him any pain, in fact, he laughed at himself after falling and grinned at the crowd as he greeted them good night.

2023 Tour

This ongoing tour is special for Springsteen, E Street Band, and his fans because it is the first time in years that he is on the road with the band.

The highly anticipated tour kicked off last February in Tampa's Amalie Arena, before eventually making its rounds in Europe last April in Barcelona's Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Springsteen and E Street Band still have a long way to go before they finish touring this year. They are not even halfway done with all their concert stops, which are expected to circle back to North America.

This also is not the first time Springsteen has encountered issues with his tour. During the first round of his North American shows, the singer postponed several shows, which included Columbus, Uncasville, and Albany due to an illness.

Too Old?

Many are concerned whether Springsteen might be too old to even go on tour. However, as per reports, the "Boss" singer has shown nothing but endurance and stamina throughout his tour.

That does not mean that the singer's medical bill is completely scot-free. According to reports, Springsteen is no stranger to bouts with mental illness. Apparently, his mental illness has been a part of his family history and his own medical history for quite some time now.

However, it seems like there won't be anything that can really stop him from doing what he loves best.
