Even though Elton John hasn't fully reached the end of the yellow brick road, he has already set a historic record. The music icon is now considered to be the first artist in music and touring history to have reached the $900 million mark.

Ed Sheeran's "Divide" Tour initially held the mark with $776,200,000, but John has finally surpassed him this time!

Taylor Swift 'The Eras' Tour vs Elton John 'Farewell Yellow Brick' Tour

Meanwhile, Elton John might be holding that feat only until 2024 after Swift's full numbers for "The Eras" tour were computed. Pollstar has already projected that Swift would hit the billion mark for her "The Eras" tour.

The report says that Swift would reach a total of $1.4 billion in revenue as she finishes her tour in 2024.

Now that she added more dates to her European tour, Swift would surely surpass more than what was expected of her. Swift recently sold out the presale of her 6-day concert in Singapore with more than a million people queuing the virtual sale. The entire sale was sold out for 3 hours. (via PhilStar Life)

Meanwhile, a general sale is still expected to take place on Jul. 7, 2023.
