Rina Sawayama let out some new shots against Matty Healy in a new fiery rant in her performance in Lisbon, Portugal. This is the second time that she has seemingly called out Matty Healy.

Notably, Healy is a shareholder of Dirty Hit Records, an independent record label that owns and manages the masters of Sawayama and many more indie British acts.

Rina Sawayama Thrashes Matty Healy Again

While performing at the NOS Alive in Lisbon, Portugal, Sawayama threw some shots again, many believe to be directed again to Matty Healy.

"So I was thinking a lot about apologies," she said. "It's just funny how some people get away with not apologising ever... For saying some racist s**t. For saying some sexist shit.

While she was delivering her impassioned speech, Sawayama is about to perform her hit song "STFU!" The last time that she did that in Glastonbury, it was to talk about Healy too.

"So let's try this. Why don't you apologise for once in your life without making it about your f**king self?" she continued.

In June 2023, when Sawayama was onstage for Glastonbury Festival, she had a more direct hit toward Healy. Although she did not name him flat out, the description and the dots connect perfectly.

"Tonight this goes out to a white man that watches 'Ghetto Gaggers' [porn] and mocks Asian people on a podcast," the British-Japanese singer said then. "He also owns my masters. I've had enough."

The Reason of Rina Sawayama, Matty Healy Drama

Sawayama's statements were seemingly a perfect callback to the racism and sexism that Healy has been called out for many times.

Specifically, Sawayama's Glastonbury statements were about the time that Healy appeared on the Adam Friedland Podcast and mocked Ice Spice's ethnicity.

Meanwhile, Sawayama's newer comments were a jab at Healy's "apology" to Ice Spice shortly after one of his concerts.

"I just feel a bit bad, and I'm kind of a bit sorry if I've offended you. Ice Spice, I'm sorry," Healy said in his Auckland, New Zealand concert stop. "It's not because I'm annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It's because I don't want Ice Spice to think I'm a dick. I love you, Ice Spice. I'm so sorry.

Sadly, Healy's comments and recurrent behavior against Ice Spice and in general, were a red flag for Swifties when The 1975 vocalist briefly dated Taylor Swift in the past few months.
