The 1975's frontman Matty Healy and Charli XCX were photographed hanging out on Sunday, and netizens expressed their disgust and disappointment.

"Charli, I'm gonna act like I didn't see this .... fix it," a fan commented on Pop Base's new update.

"I am.... starting to get sick of her."

"Don't tell me they're dating," another added.

The reason why netizens are so disgruntled to see the "Crash" singer with Healy is because of his "problematic" ideologies and tendencies to blurt them out loud in interviews and during concerts.

Netizens are not the only ones annoyed with the singer and his toxic rhetoric, even fellow artist Rina Sawayama called Healy out for mocking Asians.

This also happens to be the reason why Charli XCX unfollowed the "This Hell" singer on Instagram.

Charli XCX, RinaSawayama's Feud

The feud began when some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Charli XCX was no longer following Sawayama on Instagram, which was weird, considering the pair have been quite close and even collaborated for the former's song "Beg For You."

Charli XCX then tweeted, "messy era" on X (formerly known as Twitter), which only made fans speculate even more.

Fans think that it might have something to do with Sawayama openly condemning Healy during her set at an event in Glastonbury.

"I wrote this next song because I was sick and tired of these microaggressions. So tonight, this goes out to a white man that watches 'Ghetto Gaggers' and mocks Asian people on a podcast. He also owns my masters," the "XS" singer said. "I've had enough."

Charli XCX responded to the rumors: "Look - this all got a bit crazy - me and Rina spoke about things on the phone just now. My unfollowing (which happened a couple of weeks ago) was over a personal disagreement between friends which we've now spoken about.

"Anyways, stream 'Beg For You'!"

Netizens pointed out that Charli XCX's boyfriend, George Daniel, is the drummer of The 1975 and, of course, a friend of Healy.

Rina Sawayama Calls Out Matty Healy

Aside from sharing his antisemitic ideologies, Healy has also mocked Asians and other races and cultures; he even singled out Ice Spice in an interview.

He apologized to the rising star rapper, but fans were already disgusted and were even more infuriated with his apology.

"I never meant to hurt anybody," Healy said. "[...] It's not because I'm annoyed that me joking got misconstrued, it's cause I don't want Ice Spice to think I'm a d---. I love you, Ice Spice. I'm so sorry. I don't want anything to be misconstrued as mean [...]"
