Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are about to start a messy divorce following their split.

After 14 months of marriage, Spears and Asghari decided to split amid cheating allegations and a toxic relationship issue. As the breakup rumors came out, talks about the divorce filing also emerged as the 29-year-old hunk had reportedly been waiting to get out of their relationship for a long time.

Sam Asghari Asks Massive Demands in Divorce Filing

On Wednesday, Asghari submitted the divorce filing to Los Angeles Superior Court through Spears' ex-Hollywood Attorney, Neal Hersh.

In the document, where he petitions the dissolution of their marriage, he listed the date of their separation as July 28, 203 - noting that the union lasted for a year and one month - and "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the split.

The Iranian-American model will reportedly seek spousal support from the "Toxic" singer and make her pay for his attorneys' fees throughout the proceedings.

"Petitioner has yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party," the filing said. "Petitioner reserves the right to amend this Petition or to conform the Petition to proof."

The demand arose after a source told Page Six that Asghari threatened Spears he would release embarrassing information about her unless they reworked the prenup to provide him more support. Meanwhile, an unnamed insider close to Asghari denied the claims.

On the other hand, a separate source told a news outlet that Asghari claimed his estranged wife attacked him several times during their relationship, and the singer allegedly attacked him while he was sleeping and left him with a black eye at one point.

Spears strengthened her legal team by tapping divorce lawyer Laura Wasser. The pop star reportedly hired the powerhouse attorney to ensure her sure win in the divorce proceedings that are likely to turn into a lengthy, ugly battle in the courtroom.

The singer previously hired Wasser when she was embroiled in a custody battle with Kevin Federline in 2018 during which she was ordered to pay her ex-husband $20,000 a month as part of the child support payments.

Wasser handled highly-publicized cases in the past involving Johnny Depp, Kevin Costner, Kim Kardashian, and Joe Manganiello, to name a few.
