Upon Britney Spears' freedom from her conservatorship after 13 years, she likely envisioned a future filled with everlasting happiness.

However, a psychologist cautions the "Baby One More Time" singer about the detrimental effects of establishing "unstable connections" with individuals like her ex-con housekeeper turned lover Paul Soliz on her romantic prospects.

Spears took to Instagram over the weekend to share a post reminding her followers not to lose sleep over those who sabotage their dreams.

This comes after paparazzi captured the popstar at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, clutching a pillow and appearing slightly messy.

Emergency medical responders were called to the hotel in response to reports of a disturbance involving Spears and Soliz. Displaying her inflamed ankle on social media, she flaunted her injury for all to see.

Soliz, a reformed criminal, had a long history with Spears, dating back to 2022 when she hired him to assist with household tasks at her residence.

According to psychologist Dr. Becky Spelman, Soliz was deemed an uncertain match for the blonde beauty.

The revelation of their relationship unfolded following Spears' recent split from her ex-husband, Sam Asghari, who decided to end their marriage.

Spelman spoke with The Sun and explained, "Britney makes fast-forming, unstable connections with the wrong men. She also chooses men who are already within her close circle. Some of them may have been useful to her and provided companionship for [Spears] during turbulent periods."

"With [Soliz], it would have been when [Spears] felt vulnerable after splitting from [Sam] Asghari. Someone must help Britney recognize the men who might use her for fame and wealth."

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Spears and Soliz were seen cruising around in her white Mercedez.

Spelman advised the ex-child actress to seek resources to enhance her self-confidence and must establish a positive social network that empowers rather than constrains her.

Moreover, the expert added the "Toxic" singer must develop the skill of recognizing warning signs at the outset of any relationship.

"She needs to select her partners carefully and those who can help create a supportive environment. Something needs to be done to break this cycle of unsuitable partners."

In 2023, Soliz's employment with Spears' estate reportedly ended after his criminal background was revealed. As their interactions progressed, their relationship eventually evolved into a romantic connection.
