Ariana Grande has been reported to have parted ways with her longtime manager Scooter Braun as industry insiders continue to push back on the claims that their reports were untrue.

Meanwhile, the other side of the chatter spectrum says that Grande and Justin Bieber haven't left the sinking ship yet.

Ariana Grande Left SB Projects?

According to Entertainment Journalist Matthew Belloni of Puck News and The Hollywood Reporter, Ariana Grande has reportedly parted ways with Scooter Braun and SB Projects.

Notably, Grande has been with SB Projects and Scooter Braun since 2013, when she released her debut album, "Yours, Truly," which gets a 10th-anniversary reissue later this week.

The news that Grande has left Scooter Braun's management came after it was also reported that Justin Bieber also left the management as well as Demi Lovato.

Since the news broke out on social media, several insiders have attested to the veracity of the claims. Lovato's departure was backed by Billboard and Idina Menzel's exit with Braun was backed by The Hollywood Reporter.

However, a new source refuted Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande's departure rumors.

Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber Still Working With Scooter Braun

According to a TMZ report, Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande are still with SB Projects - but in a relatively gray area.

In 2021, Braun sold his Ithaca Holdings, the parent company of SB Projects to HYBE America, for a whopping $1.05 billion. Because of this acquisition, the source revealed that Grande, Bieber, J Balvin, Lovato, and SB Projects' staff received a $161 million share each.

Now, according to a Variety source, Braun is stepping up as CEO of HYBE America, which also oversees world phenomenon BTS, and recently Quality Control, which manages Quavo, Lil Baby, City Girls, and Lil Yachty, among many other rap stars.

The source revealed that Braun is taking a step back on the day-to-day management of Grande and Bieber as he adjusts to the new role. The two are still with SB Projects and they're figuring out a new structure to manage them.

Notably, the same Variety source said that technically, Grande and Bieber are still in contract with SB Projects.

"All of Scooter Braun's clients are under contract and negotiations have been going on for several months as Scooter steps into his larger role as HYBE America CEO," the said source claimed. "People are spreading rumors based on what they know, but they are off. Scooter's team at SB Projects are still handling both Justin and Ariana as they work through what this new structure looks like."

However, a source countered Bieber's departure, saying that there's been some souring on his part as he is still set to depart the management soon.

As for Grande, Variety reached out to both sides and had this to say:

"Grande's exit was strenuously denied by sources close to Braun while a rep for the singer did not respond to Variety's requests for comment."
