It's been 16 years since Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, and Justin Timberlake topped the charts with their track "Give It to Me" and fans will get a major nostalgia feeling next month as the trio finally announced that they're collaborating again; find out when it's coming out below.

According to Billboard, the rapper took to his official Instagram account to share a post with the caption of numerous emojis hinting about the comeback along with the words, "Da king has returned!"

The teaser to fans began with the phrase "The time has come" before several throwback videos popped on screen.

Some of the clips included were their performance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," and several others of the highlights of their careers.

They finally unveiled the release date in the end. The trio's new song will be available for streaming on major music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music starting on September 1, 2023.

Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake to Revive 2000s Music

In a separate video posted on Timbaland's account, the rapper and Timberlake was in a recording studio where they call Furtado via FaceTime.

In the clip, the rapper revealed that he called the Canadian songstress for her to hear the final cut of their collaboration.

"This record is amazing, do you wanna hear it?" one said in the clip, to which Furtado replied, "I do."

A teaser of the track could be heard in the background and the lyrics were "I keep going, I keep going, I keep going up."

Furtado appears to be excited on the video as she vibed and danced to the music.

She later praised Timberlake for his contribution to the music as she said, "You sound good, Justin."

"You know what's crazy to me? It's like you mix 'Promiscuous' and 'Say It Right' energy in the same song," the "Mirrors" hitmaker said of the track.

In the end of the video, they finally revealed the titled which is "Keep Going Up."

Timbaland Comeback

In early reports, it was noted that "Keep Going Up" is the first collaboration between the three since 2007's "Give It To Me."

On the other hand, the rapper had also worked with Timberlake and Furtado separately.

He first teased the upcoming collaboration on social media as he wrote in a post last month: "Da dream team."

This would also mark Timbaland's return to the music scene as he had been quiet for a while.
