SZA Toronto Concert Postponed: Details

In a now-expired Instagram story, SZA revealed that she wasn't able to take the stage at her supposed Scotiabank Arena concert in Toronto, Canada last Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023. This was because she fell ill hours before the show.

She apologized to her fans in the video, explaining that even steroids could not give her a boost in performing all out for her devoted fans.

"Hey gang, I'm here at the arena," she revealed in the video, as quoted by Variety. "I just tried to do sound check, I sound terrible. I only want to give you guys 100 percent and that's what you deserve and I won't give you less than that. I promise you I will come back to Toronto and make it up, I'm so sorry. I wanted to push through very much, I'm on as much dexamethasone as one can be on, and I love you and I promise you I'll be back. I tried, I came, I got in hair and makeup and all the things. I love you and I'm really sorry."

The post has since been taken down by SZA but fans outpoured their support for her and wished her a speedy recovery.

People on Twitter also sent their well-wishes to SZA.

"I hope she feels better , it sucks I was in line w my merch all prepped but I'm so excited to see her at her best next time!! (i saw her before in feb but like I hadddd to go again)," a user shared.
