Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's divorce has also significantly impacted their care for their two young children.

Now, they have reached a temporary agreement concerning the two children.

Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner Custody Battle

In a statement shared to People Magazine, the estranged ex-couple said that the two children will be shared by both parents.

"After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents," the statement read.

Per the publication's exclusively obtained court documents, an interim consent was made into action as the ex-couple came up with it during their "productive mediation" in the past few days. Apparently, the temporary custody will be until only Jan. 7, 2024.

Before Dec. 23, 2023, each concerned party must jointly submit a status report letter laying out the mediation between the two of them.

Last week, Jonas and Turner were spotted leaving a building separately in New York City after eight hours of mediation session.

It all came after Turner sued her husband Joe Jonas for allegedly holding their children captive, withholding their passports and refusing them to return to England.

Dubbed as "wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained," Turner's legal camp exhausted all efforts to have the care back to the "Game of Thrones" star.

Jonas has since disputed the claims of Turner, saying that they had already worked on a co-parenting plan before the divorce was publicized.

"After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida, as Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case. Sophie was aware that Joe was going to file for divorce. The Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children. Sophie was served with this order on September 6, 2023, more than two weeks ago," the statement read.

Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner Divorce

The world was surprised when Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner split up and eventually headed to divorce.

On Jonas' filing, which Turner revealed to have only been informed via social media, referenced a co-parenting plan for their children, Willa and Delphine.

"A parenting plan should be established, which addresses all parenting issues and contains a timesharing schedule providing for frequent and continuing contact with both parties. The children have been residing with their father in Miami and other locations throughout the United States," the filing read.
