Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner paused their tumultuous divorce proceedings last year so they could take a breather; during that time, both of them have taken on new relationships and moved on with their lives.
That is probably why the Game of Thrones star wants their divorce case "reactivated" so they can settle it once and for all.
According to legal documents obtained by People, Turner's legal team requested "that the abatement has come to an end and this case is to be re-activated."
This is a couple of months after the Jonas Brothers singer filed for a dissolution of marriage from Turner in September 2023 after four years of marriage, claiming that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken."
Jonas and Turner share two daughters, Willa and Delphine.

Aside from the divorce, the "Cake By The Ocean" hitmaker and Turner had a messy custody battle over their children after the former was sued for "witholding" their kids' passports.
She claimed that the singer prevented the actress from bringing them to her home country, England.
However, the issue was later resolved in October 2023 after they established an interim consent order.
