Fans in Providence, Rhode Island, were looking forward to watching We Came As Romans live, but the band never went up the stage because of an alleged issue that happened within the crowd earlier that evening; what happened to their concert?

According to Loudwire, the group was scheduled to perform at the Fete Music Hall, but there was a shocking incident that happened during the opening performance of Bodysnatcher, their supporting act.

Taking to their official Instagram account, the band revealed that they had to cancel the show because "multiple attendees were wrongfully & aggressively dragged out of the venue."

They added that some people from their touring crew tried to de-escalate the situation by speaking with the security personnel involved as the band already approved moshing and crowd surfing.

However, the said security team "did not respond well, & the situation escalated further."

Unfortunately, things got out of hand as the band alleged that one security spat in the face of their crew, "threatening physical violence, & someone having to be physically restrained."

We Came As Romans Disappointed Over Show's Cancelation

Later on, the band decided to cancel the show as a precaution and protection to all of their fans who attended, as well as those who are working ith them behind the scenes.

"We can't tell you how disappointed we are that we were not able to play," they added.

For those who already purchased the tickets for the said date and venue, refunds are now available at your point of purchase.
