Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner might have a romantic relationship in the past, but despite them moving forward with their personal lives, they were still able to reunite and start a new chapter through friendship. More recently, the actor recalled what it was like to appear on the massive "Eras Tour" and he shared what he had been through that evening.

Before we dive into the story of his concert appearance, let's take a look how the mega pop superstar reached out to her ex-boyfriend.

Lautner recently appeared in an episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" where he recalled getting a call from his manager one random morning.

His manager immediately told him that he got a call from Swift's manager and she wanted to get his updated cellphone number in order to reach out.

The manager then asked him if it was okay with his wife and make sure everything was good on her end, but Lautner assured him that his wife was in the kitchen "freaking out" as she's a big fan of the pop star.

Taylor Lautner Finally Reunited With Taylor Swift

After years of not seeing each other, the two Taylors were able to reunite in Liverpool, England, where the music video for "I Can See You" was filmed.

Initially, the video was supposed to be filmed in London, the United Kingdom, but it was later changed because there would be "too much paparazzi and media" and the team didn't want to spoil it to the public. (via Billboard)

The music video, which also starred actress Joey King, was finally released and it was a "from the vault" song of the re-recorded version of "Speak Now."

Taylor Lautner Blacked Out at 'The Eras Tour'

Later in the interview, Lautner revealed that Swift told him that the evening her album "Speak Now
(Taylor's Version)" drops, she would blind premiere it at her show in Kansas City.

Then after the show, the "Twilight" actor would eventually come out and people would freak out as it would be a reunion that no one would ever see coming.

Later on, the plan did manage to happen, but the actor, who did a flip on stage, was so nervous that he blacked out and went straight to backflipping.

"I do this weird thing, and it doesn't make sense so forgive me, when I freak out and I'm really nervous and I black out, I just go straight to backflip."
