A proposal to create a concert film in the vein of Taylor Swift is made "every few months" to Blink-182.

The 'All The Small Things' pop punk superstars, consisting of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge, have been approached with concepts that are comparable to the 'The Eras Tour' film in one way or another, and they are amenable to the notion.

Tom told Cinema Blend: "It always comes across the desk every few months. Some version. "We've talked about doing something on this next tour that we just launched, like, today."

The musician remarked that fans might be more drawn to the movies for "d*** jokes" than the songs themselves, but they're up for it. The guitarist rejoined the band earlier this year when their well-known lineup got back together.

He said: "We've definitely talked about versions. You know, Taylor is a phenomenon. She can demand ticket sales. "You and I both know how hard it is to get people to want to go to a movie theater. "I don't know if people would come to see Blink in a movie theater for the music, but they might come for the d*** jokes. So maybe we focus on that?"

With an international opening weekend total of $123.5 million, Taylor Swift's concert film made history by becoming the most grossing concert film or documentary ever when it debuted in theaters last month.

In the meantime, Blink-182's complete reunion occurred when Tom helped heal their bond by being there for Mark during his illness battle.

He had previously disclosed how Mark's diagnosis motivated him to return to Blink in 2022; he had left the group in 2015 to be replaced by Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio.

"I don't think I'm going to play music again, I don't think I'm going to tour again," Tom recalled telling his wife. "Until Mark told me he was sick, and then I was like, that's the only thing I wanted to do."

Last week, "One More Time" by Blink-182 debuts at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart on November 4, giving the rock group their third consecutive chart-topping single.

According to Luminate, the new full-length studio album started with 125,000 equivalent album units collected in the United States in the week ending October 26, mostly from traditional album sales.
