It appears that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship is upgrading to the next level as it was reported that both of their parents are set to meet for the first time for the NFL athlete's game next week.
According to a report published by Entertainment Tonight, both parents of the two lovers will be meeting at the game of the Kansas City Chiefs against Philadelphia Eagles where Travis Kelce and her brother Jason Kelce will play on respectively.
It will be a family affair and the siblings already discussed about it in a previous episode of their podcast "New Heights."
Scott Swift, the singer's father, is a long time fan of the Eagles wher Jason is going to play with.
Since Travis already met his girlfriend's dad, it appeared that he might have persuaded him to support the Chiefs instead of his favorite team.
"Got him over to the good side, baby... Just one by one, getting all the good ones to come on over," the athlete said.
Jason replied with a joke, saying, "You're gonna let this man's devilish good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott? Ridiculous." (via Taste of Country)
Travis Kelce Already Had Dinner With Taylor Swift's Dad
In the same episode, Travis Kelce revealed that he already met Scott Swift at a dinner before they watched "The Eras Tour" in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In the podcast show, the athlete noted that Scott has been a fan of football for years now and he is a "huge football guy."
It appears that Travis and Scott share one thing in common, their love for the sport, as the dad was reportedly a player back when he was in college in Hawaii for a year or two.
The athlete said he and Taylor's family had dinner in the hotel where they were staying at at the time because the first Latin American show was canceled due to bad weather.
Travis said he wanted to be respective of the fans that's why they didn't go out that evening.
Donna Kelce Reveals if Taylor Swift Will Watch the Game or Not
Donna Kelce also spoke with Extra where she revealed if Taylor Swift will attend her sons' game on Monday.
In the interview, the supportive mother said she doubts it as the musician is currently busy with the Latin American leg of her "The Eras Tour" and the night before the game, she's scheduled to perform in Brazil.
"That'd be rough, so I'm thinking no," she said.
Regardless of her sons' going against each other, Donna assured that she will be supportive of them both and joked that she'll have to split her jersey on.
