Having both enjoyed decades of success in the music industry, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are no strangers to showbiz.
Recently, Tim has revealed advice he and his wife gave Taylor Swift when she was just starting out as a teenage star.
The Important Advice
Tim told People magazine, "We had long conversations with her in Faith's dressing room about always being open to listening, but always know that you're the leader, that you're the one making decisions, that you will know what song is going to work or not and that you are the captain of your ship."
It was 15 years ago when the iconic country star invited the "Anti-Hero" singer to open for them on their "Soul2Soul" tour. The dad of three quickly noticed how extraordinary this young star was, and he held a conversation with her during that time.
"I remember thinking this girl has so much talent and so much moxie, and she's so curious," he remarked. "We both absolutely fell in love with her instantly, as an artist and as a person - just a fellow professional that you realize totally knows what they are doing."
When it comes to Taylor's stardom and the attention surrounding her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce, Tim is confident in his sister's ability to manage it all.
The country superstar said, "She understands how and when to take advantage of her fame for promotional purposes, but she also knows when she should just be herself and live a peaceful life."
"I think she has brilliantly navigated that line."
Back in November, Tim shared his early thoughts on Taylor's success with Audacy's Katie Neal.
He explained that both himself and Faith could tell even years ago that she was headed for superstardom. "We both knew it."
"She's just so curious, which is a sign of great intelligence. We had no doubt she was headed to do big things."

Record Breaking Career
An incredible feat was achieved recently by Taylor Swift as her five albums have simultaneously made their way to the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 200 chart, making her the first living artist in 60 years to do so.
The 12-time Grammy Award-winning singer is no stranger when it comes to breaking records in the music industry, and this accomplishment solidifies her place as an all-time great.
In a chart-topping feat unprecedented in the Billboard listings since their August 1963 combination of mono and stereo charts, Taylor Swift has become the first artist to have five albums simultaneously featured amongst the top 10 on the unified list.
The singer's success will be highlighted on the week ending December 9th according to Billboard.
Heading the list of albums was "1989 (Taylor's Version)," which made a return to the summit after sitting at number 2. In addition four former chart-toppers featured in the listing - "Midnights" at third, "Folklore" at fifth, "Lover" sixth and 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" at tenth.
