Hayley Cramer has been with the Michigan-based band, Pop Evil, for years now, and fans were shocked recently as she announced that she will be leaving the group; what happened?

The musician took to the band's official Facebook page to share the surprising announcement, beginning with: "The time has come for me to part ways with Pop Evil. It is not a decision that I have made lightly."

Cramer explained that she is in the point of her life where she wanted to branch out and "find new paths and adventure."

She later noted that her time with Pop Evil has been memorable as she considers it as one of the best chapters of her life so far because she made a lot of "incredible memories" with her bandmates.

"All of the band members, crew, and management have helped me grow, not only as a musician, but as a person. I am so thankful to everyone involved that has pushed me, elevated me, and cheered me on," she added.

"My decision to move on is because I would be doing the fans and my fellow bandmates a disservice by continuing with a feeling of needing a change," she concluded.

As of this writing, Pop Evil has yet to reveal whether they found a new drummer or not.

Not the First Drummer Who Left Pop Evil

Hayley Cramer was not the first drummer who left Pop Evil as she filled in the spot for Josh "Chachi" Marunde back in 2016.

At the time, Marunde explained that he will seek opportunities that would let him spend time with his family and loved ones. (via Blabbermouth)

Even though he left the group, he clarified that music will still be a part of his life and he's never going to stop playing drums.

The former drummer played his final show in May 2016 along with other bands Rob Zombie and Disturbed.
