Mike Ness is back and he's better than ever as his band, Social Distortion, announced that they will be coming back this 2024 months after he underwent treatment for his cancer; check out the newly-announced dates below.

According to Consequence, the group previously postponed their shows across North America along with their supporting act, The Bellrays.

The new shows will now begin in September 2024 in Seattle before their final concert in October in New Mexico.

For those who wanted to see the group of musicians perform their biggest hits, you may purchase tickets via Ticketmaster as the general on sale is now happening.

What Happened to Mike Ness?

Social Distortion's tour was initially scheduled to run the summer of 2023, but they were forced to postpone it after Mike Ness was diagnosed with throat cancer.

In a statement released at the time, he noted that while the band was in the process of pre-production for their tour, he was diagnosed with the illness.

"I was feeling well enough to continue with recording in the studio up until the very day before surgery. The band and I were so inspired and excited to lay down these tracks, which by the way sound f-ing AWESOME!" he wrote online.

Following his surgery, the musician continued to recover and aside from the operation, he also underwent radiation therapy, which will be the last.

"We expect a full recovery enabling me to live a long and productive life," he added.
