Just a few days after 2024 started, Taylor Swift wasted no time in setting a new milestone in her career.

16 days in, the Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter once again shattered a colossal record.

Taylor Swift's First 2024 Spotify Record

34-year-old Taylor Swift did what no other artist had managed to do before- she became the first artist to have a billion streams on Spotify this 2024.

Since the "Anti-Hero" singer released her "Taylor's Version" of the "1989" album in October of 2023, fans have eagerly anticipated new music from the pop star.

Not only did this re-record feature five brand new "From the Vault" tracks, but it also surpassed the sales of the original album from 2014, securing her yet another number one album in several parts of the world.

The vinyl that dominated sales throughout the year also claimed the title of the best-selling record of the season.

Remarkable statistics from Luminate (via The Sun) reveal an astounding revelation: out of every 78 songs Spotify streamed in the United States in 2023, one belonged to Taylor Swift.

Broken An Elvis Record

This comes after reports that Taylor Swift broke the record Elvis Presley used to hold.

In a historic achievement that has shattered long-standing records, the artist known for her captivating vocals and rebellious persona has emerged as a true force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Taylor Swift's re-recorded album, "1989 (Taylor's Version)," also claimed the top spot on the chart during the last week of the year. This remarkable feat marks the fifth time the album has reached number one, solidifying Swift's reign on the Billboard 200.

Securing the coveted first place for an individual, Taylor's achievement was only surpassed by the legendary band, The Beatles.

The Beatles still maintain their title as the ultimate record holder, with their albums reigning supreme on the Billboard 200 for a staggering 132 weeks.

The "Shake It Off" singer, now placed in second overall, finds herself in prestigious company. With a respectable 67 weeks, Elvis holds the second position among solo recording artists and secures the third place overall.
