Zayn Malik surprised everyone by showing up at Paris Men's Fashion Week for the Kenzo Menswear show last Jan. 19.

This is the "Pillow Talk" hitmaker's first public appearance in years since he has stayed away from the public's radar and focused on being a dad to his daughter and making music.

However, what was supposed to be a joyous occasion for fans, turned into something horrific for Malik, who was bombarded by a crowd and a sea of phones pointed at him.

According to Pop Base, a passing car seemingly ran over the singer's foot while he struggled against the crowd to get to his car.

There are no reports that confirm that Malik was injured, and the singer did not release any statements regarding the matter, but he did look quite annoyed by the looks of it.

Zayn Malik Returns to the Limelight

According to People Magazine, the former One Direction singer was seen wearing a matching set of blazer and pants, with a crisp white button-down shirt.

What caught people's attention was Malik's frosted tips, which seemed reminiscent of his look while he was in One Direction many years ago.

This is the first time fans have seen his appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, and a day after releasing an Urdu song.

Malik surprised fans by jumping on "Tu Hai Kahan," a song by Karachi-based pop band Aur.

Many think that the singer is hinting that he will be returning to the music scene and dropping a single--or maybe an album soon.

Zayn Malik Confirms New Music

Malik has been teasing fans of an upcoming release for months now; he dropped "Love Like This" in July 2023, and even revealed that he has been busy in the recording studio.

"I'm doing a record I don't think people are really gonna expect. It's a different sound for me," the "Entertainer" singer said.

"And it's got some more narrative going on, like real-life experiences and stuff. My daughter's mentioned in there a couple of times."

After leaving One Direction in 2015, Malik dropped his solo debut studio album "Mind of Mine" and two years later, in 2018, he released "Icarus Falls."

His third studio album "Nobody Is Listening" was released in January 2021. As of this writing, there is no word on what the upcoming album's title will be or when it is slated for release.
