When asked if he would trust Clinton as a leader after news that she used a private email server at the State Department broke earlier this year, former Rhode Island governor Lincoln Chafee responded, "I think we need somebody with the best and ethical standards as our next president. That's how I feel." After answering questions and defending criticism regarding her veracity to lead, Clinton was tired of explaining herself to the American public. When asked if she wanted to defend against Chafee's condemnation, Clinton replied with a terse, confident "no."

    After the original lawsuit was thrown out in 2007, Jay Z is under fire once again for the sample he used in his hit song "Big Pimpin'." The estate of composer Baligh Hamdi has sued the rapper/businessman for $5 million for his use of the song "Khosara Khosara" in his popular 2000 track. Joining him in court will be producer Timbaland, whose production was central to the track's success.

  • Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' $10,000 Grant Ban Lifted By High School

    Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have shown their concern over the dwindling funding of public school arts programs in the form of a $10,000 grant to an Orange County high school. However, early last week, it was revealed that Aliso Niguel High School declined the grant due to the promotion of "misogyny and drug use." Mackelmore was evidently disheartened by the news, which came in light of parents' complaints about a visit from the pair. The ban was prompted by a contest (held by the textbook website Chegg, according to The Orange County Register) in which students competed to win a visit and grant from the popular Hip Hop duo.
