Adele just announced what fans hope to be the first round of shows from her highly anticipated tour, but it was not what they expected it to be.

According to reports, after her Las Vegas residency, the "Hello" singer will be headed to Munich, Germany for four shows at the Munch Messe in an "an open-air environment that has been exclusively created for these special shows."

"The bespoke arena will feature a combination of seated grandstands and standing areas with capacity for 80,000 people per night," the press release read.

This will be Adele's first show in Europe since 2016, which is why fans were excited, but others not so much.

"Bye, we wanted something better."

"That was the surprise?" Another added.

"Got my hopes up for a tour for no reason."

Adele Teases Tour, Lays Out Conditions

According to reports, Adele announced that she plans to return on the road for another tour, but only after she completes her new, upcoming album.

Back in 2021, she explained that after releasing "30," she has no plans to doing just that "for quite some time."

However, it seems like she changed her mind because she is going on tour, but without the new album.

Shortly after announcing the tour, the "Set Fire to the Rain" singer shared this via X, formerly known as Twitter: "So a few months ago I got a call about a summer run of shows. I've been content as anything with my shows in London's Hyde Park and my residency in Vegas, so I hadn't had any other plans.

"However, I was too curious to not follow up and indulge in this idea - a one off, bespoke pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on? Ohh!? Pretty much slap bang in the middle of Europe? In Munich? That's a bit random, but still fabulous!"

Adele Returns Onstage

For the entirety of 2023, Adele has been performing every weekend in Las Vegas, and while she has kept her American fans well entertained, she has neglected her European fans.

The "When We Were Young" singer will be picking up her Las Vegas residency on Jan. 19 and wrapping it up on Jul. 15, that will give her enough time to bounce back in time for her shows in Munich which will be on Aug. 2, 3, 9, and 10.
