"Who Killed Rapper Bigidagoe" went viral on social media following the killing of the Dutch hip-hop artist.

Local Dutch media outlets confirmed Bigidagoe's death following a shooting incident in Amsterdam. The rapper, born Danzel Silos, got reportedly involved in a suspected gang hit.

Bigidagoe Dead at 26

The Brussels Times said Bigidagoe died on Sunday, February 25, near Amsterdam-Sloterdijk station. Witnesses reportedly heard gunshots at around 5:30 a.m., leaving the rapper with multiple gunshot wounds that ultimately led to his death.

On X, users posted now-viral videos claiming they were taken before and after the shooting. One clip captured a man running while shots were being fired; another showed emergency personnel giving CPR to a victim.

The authenticity of the videos has yet to be confirmed.

According to Metro UK, Bigidagoe was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Kobus L was with the rapper at the time but managed to escape and report the incident to the police.

It was not the first time Bigidagoe got involved in a shooting incident.

In 2020, NL Times reported about the then-23-year-old rapper who sustained injuries after a shooting in an Amsterdam street. He was admitted to a hospital with serious injuries, though he later survived the near-death experience.

A day later, the house in Amsterdam Zuidoost, where Bigidagoe's mother lived, was also targeted, leaving several bullet holes in the windows. No one was hurt at the time.

Prior to Bigidagoe's death, he shared a photo of himself in a studio on Instagram. He also attended a party at One Night in Amsterdam; the location was less than a 10-minute walk from where he was shot and killed.

Bigidagoe Honored After His Death

Following the news, fans took to X to pay tribute to Bigidagoe while trying to identify the suspects using the tags "Who Killed Bigidagoe" and "Who Killed Rapper Bigidagoe."

One said, "Rip bigidagoe. You will be remembered."

"Being an artist is just not safe anymore.." another wrote. "Everybody is getting dropped for no f------ reason.. From rappers to producers.. this is sum b-------..! #Bigidagoe rust in vrede king."

"You will be missed #bigidagoe," a third wrote, while another added, "It was a very sad day no doubt, bigidagoe is no more. Rip."
