Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are among the world's most popular and talked-about people right now.

They're both at the top of their games: She's a full-fledged music icon and he's a three-time Super Bowl champion, and their power-couple status is proving itself more and more as the months pass.

But according to The New York Post, as their romance has flourished, Kelce's bank account has been taking hits.

Travis Kelce Spent More Than Half of His Salary on Taylor Swift Gifts

As the Post contends, Travis Kelce is spending around $8 million just to date Taylor Swift, who was deemed a billionaire by Forbes just last year.

Celebrity Net Worth reports that Kelce's annual salary is around $14 million, which means more than half of it already went to things for Swift, or related to his romance with Swift.

The publication estimated the amount to be the total of his expenses since his relationship with Swift became public.

The largest chunk of these expenses was real estate. Kelce moved into a lavish new home since his former home in Kansas City had already become a popular spot for paparazzi.

According to Vanity Fair, the home he bought cost nearly $6 million for a 17,000-square-foot property in an exclusive, gated neighborhood in the Kansas City suburb of Leawood, Kansas.

The next big-ticket items for Kelce is his transportation. Kelce has employed a number of private jets to travel to visit Swift, which have cost an estimated $1.2 million.

"There are a number of variable costs ... but around $300,000 would be the approximate charge to charter a 10-seat private jet to fly from the U.S. on an international destination round trip," Aviation expert Richard Levy told The New York Post.

Kelce has seen Swift's Eras Tour in Argentina, Australia, and Singapore, and he has also traveled to Hawaii, Los Angeles, and Vegas in the past few months, among many other trips.
