Dua Lipa returned to Instagram with another snippet of her hotly anticipated single, "Illusion." The song is the third single to be released off of Dua's upcoming album Radical Optimism. She previously dropped "Houdini" in November and "Training Season" in February. She previously teased "Illusion" last week on Instagram, but this is the first clip highlighting the song's official music video.

In this brief, ten-second glimpse of "Illusion," a redheaded Dua flips between multiple scenes. We see her dancing aboard what appears to be a yacht, surrounded by background dancers dressed in all white while she sports an all black ensemble. Next, she is surrounded by concrete and dancers, now wearing all black.

The video cuts to Dua posing on top of a paddle board in the middle of the ocean. The water is a delicious turquoise shade and the pop star is surrounded by synchronized swimmers who fan out around her as the word "Illusion" pops over the image.

"I be like, 'Ooh, it's amusing'/You think I'm gonna fall for an illusion," she sings over the visuals. These lines follow an earlier snippet, where she asks, "Ooh, what you doin'?Don't know who you think that you're confusing."

Carrying into a presumed chorus, she chimes "Dance all night, dance all night/Dance all night, dance all night."

The clip ends with Dua playfully slapping the camera away. The production on "Illusion" is reminiscent of the 70s disco sound that Dua Lipa has woven into her own unique brand of pop music.

The "One Kiss" singer captioned the clip with the song's release date: "TOMORROW 11PM BST ~ ILLUSION ~ SET YOUR TIMERS," attaching a blue water drop emoji. This specific emoji has made multiple appearances in her promotional social media content for the new track.

The video's comment section is filled with anticipation for the track. Fellow pop singer Lolo Zouaï left a heart emoji to indicate her excitement. One user commented that "Illusion" was "About to become my entire personality honestly." Dua's fans are riddled with enthusiasm for the upcoming song.

"Song didn't even come out and it's the song of the summer already," posted one fan. Dua's record label, Warner Records, echoed this, writing in all capital letters: "SONG OF THE SUMMER." Another account from Warner left dripping water emojis like the one Dua uses in the post's caption.

The coveted title of Song of the Summer is a hot button topic on social media, given that the term has been known to be widely overused. However, the coastal blue visuals, high pop energy and summery vibes of "Illusion" may propel the song towards this elusive pseudo-award.

Dua Lipa first announced Radical Optimism, her forthcoming third album along with its tracklist and cover art in mid-March via Instagram. The cover exudes an aquatic vibe, with Dua floating in the ocean with a shark fin in the foreground. The watery "Illusion" music video appears to tie in perfectly with the album's wider oceanic vibe.

"Illusion" will be released tomorrow, April 11 at 6 p.m. ET.
