Ryan Gosling served as the host of Saturday Night Live along with musical guest Chris Stapleton last weekend, Apr. 13, 2024.

In his now-iconic opening monologue, Gosling called on "The Fall Guy" co-star Emily Blunt for the monologue to sing some Taylor Swift.

Ryan Gosling 'All Too Well' Performance on 'SNL'

Gosling recalled his acting experience as Ken on "Barbie," a role that has since earned Gosling critical acclaim and recognition from fans and critics alike.

As he puts on his Mojo Dojo Casa House cape, Gosling crooned at the audience as he continued his "All Too Well" rendition.

"I shredded Venice Beach it's true. My clothes were tight, but something about that spandex felt so right," Gosling sang. "I left my rollerblades in that big pink house, but I still got that fur coat and I'll wear it right now."

But as he continued, his co-star, Blunt, appeared from backstage, shushing him, interrupting the whole performance. After some convincing and asking to put away his fur coat, Gosling still wouldn't budge and still had back-up dancers set up an elaborate "Barbieland" set to continue his singing.

He also joked about getting so near yet so far on his possibly first Oscar win. Gosling was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Ken in "Barbie" but lost to Robert Downey Jr. from "Oppenheimer," where Blunt also received a Supporting Actress nod.
