The Who will be celebrating its 50th anniversary as a band by releasing yet another greatest hits package but fans can get excited knowing that it will feature the first new recording from the group since 2006. "Be Lucky" will be featured on The Who Hits 50!, an album with the same name as the tour the group is gearing up for at the moment (Rolling Stone).

Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey will be at the helm of course, joined by bassist Pino Pallodino, drummer Zak Starkey and keyboardist Mick Talbot. The original Who members stated that the royalties from the track would go to the Teen Cancer America charity, an organization founded by the pair.

The Who Hits 50! will drop on October 27, featuring 42 tracks from throughout the band's discography (50 would've made sense, but hey). The tracks will be laid out chronologically, beginning with "Zoot Suit"—a single from the period when The Who briefly changed its name to The High Numbers—all the way through to "Be Lucky."
