Denzel Washington stopped by The Queen Latifah Show this week for a music-centric conversation.

D being D, he immediately dropped a crazy childhood story.

Apparently, Washington grew up with Wayne Bridges (Ludacris' dad) and the two decided that they would be The Beatles at the school talent show. According to Denzel, they won wearing wigs on their heads and playing "two dollar guitars."

"That's my story, and I'm sticking to it," he said.

Queen Latifah then brought up the fact that Denzel likes to freestyle, but he quickly rebuffed that idea.

"Don't put me on the spot now," he said. "I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it."

Queen L pulled out a mic to the delight of the audience, but Denzel still refused. He did, however, offer another awesome story that involved Lenny Kravitz and a pretty dang good Jay Z impression.

D-Wash recently took a plunge into one of the most unforgiving chasms of the internet: Reddit.

The legendary actor was promoting his new movie The Equalizer, and stopped by the site for one of its patented AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions.

One of the first questions was about hip-hop. Specifically, does Denzel enjoy Eminem, the man who provided the new track "Guts Over Fear" to The Equalizer soundtrack?

The actor wrote: "Eminem, yes, and I like Nas, and Jay-Z. Eminem and NAS are real wordsmiths. So yes, I'm DEFINITELY an Eminem fan. Where's he been? Where you been Eminem?"

Washington also dished on his go-to karaoke song:

"It would have to be some kind of a... my son used to sing I BELIEVE I CAN FLY, when he was little, and he couldn't say the words, and he would say 'I BEWEEV I CAN FAWY.' You know? All we had to do was start the song, and he would just start singing - 'I Beweev I can touch the sky!'"
