Nearly two weeks after being sentenced to 15 months in prison for her admitted guilt in various financial crimes, Real Housewife of New Jersey Teresa Giudice is desperate to find a way to have her sentence overturned. Apparently, under the terms of the plea deal Giudice signed, any kind of appeal would likely be immediately rejected by the court, but that is not stopping her from trying. A new report by Radar Online insists Giudice has been "lawyer shopping" in the hopes of finding someone who will tell her what she wants to hear.

As of now, it does not seem like Giudice is having much luck in finding legal representation that is willing to file an appeal on her behalf. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star believes that if she turns over more honest financial disclosure forms now, then a judge could be persuaded to order her to house arrest or probation, rather than the 15 months in federal prison she is scheduled to begin serving Jan. 5.

What is sad is the fact that, had Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, turned over the real financial documentation by the Aug. 19 deadline, there would have been a chance that the New Jersey court judge who heard their case would have been more lenient with the mother of four.

It is because of the couple turning in an incomplete list of assets that Judge Ester Salas decided to sentence Giudice to jail time.

Do you think Giudice will find an attorney who will try to get her sentence overturned on an appeal, or is she going to have to come to terms with the fact that she is going to have to pay for her crimes just like anyone else would need to? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
