Disclosure has unveiled their new collaboration with legendary American songstress, Mary J. Blige "Follow". Taken from her upcoming artist album The London Sessions, the 30-time Grammy award nominated and 9-time winner is set to release her 11th artist album on December with the help of her new friends, deep house brother-duo Guy and Howard Lawrence. "Follow" has the funky and deep sound you would expect from a collaboration between these three, with its groovy bass line and synth stabs under Mary J. Blige's soulful vocals (via In The Mix).

This is not the first time these two have collaborated. They first came together on a rework of Disclosure's "F For U" after Blige heard the song and became enamored with it. She reached out about covering it and the following process began to where they recreated a duet with Mary J Blige helping to rewrite part her own section of the song. As Howard told The Guardian, "I love what Mary did on that track. She wrote something we believe totally fits with the track stylistically - it's an excellent house music vocal."

They also recorded the single "Right Now" that was released earlier this year and is to appear on the album. The mix between these two makes perfect sense as they both have a unique soulful sound that has been ahead of its time.

Mary J Blige also spoke The Guardian about why she decided to name her album The London Sessions, remarking that, "The UK is a better place to make music than the States." For what Mary J. Blige is looking to accomplish with this album, choosing collaborators like Disclosure, Sam Smith, Naughty Boy and Emlié Sande is right on the money for her to capitalize on the new wave of music coming out of London and use their talent to create an album that has her sound, but shows she is evolving with the times.
