If you have been on the internet in the past few months, you have seen the clip of David Guetta at Tomorrowland staring off into space looking totally zonked out on something. Everything comes together as the song is building to the drop just as Guetta leaves our world and enters his own, while the camera zooms in on his face and the background rotates in a large hypnotic circular pattern. Now Guetta has spoken on the situation to try and clear the air on an incident that will live in infamy.

Speaking to EDM.com at TomorrowWorld in September, in advance of his new studio album Listen, the zoning-out at Tomorrowland was brought up and he had this to say:

"I think it happens to everyone to be in his own thoughts for thirty seconds," Guetta said. "I thought it was really funny and ridiculous. Yes, I am in my thought for a minute and yes, I am probably very tired, like I am right now, because I do 150 shows a year and I am making an album. I do not sleep much."

It seems reasonable enough, but speaking to DJs who are always tired from the travel and label deadlines, they have a ton of energy on stage, regardless of the sleep they get before the show. Maybe we will see more zonked out moments from Guetta in the future. Keep your cameras ready!

If you didn't see it the first time (who are you?!) or just need some comedic amusement as you sit down to a meal with family relatives you don't like, here is the video again.

Guetta will be doing a few select club shows in the US, so go check him out at the following dates and maybe you will see him totally zoned out there via David Guetta's Facebook page
