Mark Kozelek is the flame-throwing artist behind Sun Kil Moon, a musical project that produced this year's best dis track. After dropping a Christmas album earlier this month, Kozelek recently announced he's re-releasing "The Possum" as a 10-inch vinyl (due April 2015).

Accompanying the track will be the B-side "Cry Me A River Williamsburg Sleeve Tattoo Blues."

While that's quite a title, it can't top this year's "War On Drugs: Suck My C--k," which set off a social media battle between the artists.

Surprisingly, WOD's Adam Granduciel digs Kozelek's work.

"I listened to ['Benji'] a lot while we were on tour," Granduciel told NME. "I thought it was such a beautiful record, weird and cool and great. I haven't listened to it since this whole thing between us started, but I probably could if I tried really hard. It would be pretty high in my list of albums of the year. I don't really know what his problem is. He's probably just trying to have a little fun. Maybe there's some comfort in being a little bit of an outsider."

Kozelek tried to explain his public image while trading emails with Ben Gibbard last month.

"I think people choose to be offended by things as a way of bonding, as a hobby. They embed some piece of information into their brain without thinking it through, because it's easier. 'Mark Kozelek is an a--hole.' It's lowest common denominator stuff. Things get taken out of context. The bummer is that the banter ends up eclipsing the music. People are more excited to read about me knocking 'hillbillies' or the band The War on Drugs than they are to hear about the music."
