Following the release of his freestyle track "Yaphet Kotto" earlier this month, Childish Gambino is back with a new song, "3005," which will likely be featured on his upcoming sophomore album, Because the Internet.

The track sounds like a mix of Drake and Big Sean and the lyrics clearly reflect Gambino's current headspace - worrying about the future, how he is perceived and who his true friends are. He sings, ""No matter what you say or what you do / When I'm alone I'd rather be with you / F**k these other n**gas / I'll be right by your side 'til 3005 / Hold up." It's a solid track that is getting us excite about the upcoming album.

Because the Internet is due out soon, but Gambino and his label are having disagreements on the release date, according to a series of open letters he posted last week.
