Solange Knowles' boutique indie label Saint Records has announced its first major project, Saint Heron. The compilation album, to be distributed through Sony, will feature 12 tracks from unsuspected R&B acts including, Cassie, Jade J, Petite Noir, Kelela, India Shawn, Sampha and Jhené Aiko as well as Knowles herself. The first single release by the label was Brooklyn native Kelela's "Go All Night."

"With Saint Heron, I really wanted to celebrate and continue to cultivate the community for genre-defying R&B artists," Knowles said in a statement. "I've personally connected with all of these extremely talented artists, and I'm really excited for us to come together through the compilation as a new movement for music."

Knowles also has plans to release her next album through the imprint and sees the website SaintHeron.com as a hub for material coming from the artists she works with. The site aims to provide interviews, essays, song shares and news for the community she hopes to cultivate.

Saint Heron is due out Nov. 12. Stream Kelela's "Go All Night" here, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!
