Motionless In White knows that music and politics are a great mix for some bands, but MIW treads lightly when it comes to most controversial topics. The hardcore group doesn't shy away from everything, however.

"The closest we've ever come to [writing anything political] is general standpoints on topics about gay rights, or my general observations of the world around me," singer Chris Motionless told Alt Press TV.

Still, he doesn't want to be a fool.

"I'm definitely not educated enough in that realm to say anything about it," he said. "I don't want to be an ignorant d---head that just spews out dumb s--- like everyone else on the Internet.

"If I really feel strongly about something, I'll say it, but [it's] very rare."

Motionless will get plenty of opportunities to say dumb things on the band's extensive 2015 tour, which includes a stop at Welcome to Rockville.
