Taylor Swift may be riding high with "Blank Space" and her new album 1989 at the top of the charts, but she's still looking forward to a new single. Rumor has it that Swift will be following up her mega-hits "Shake It Off" and "Blank Space" with the Harry Styles-inspired track "Style" as the third promotional single from 1989.

Rumors first swirled that "Style" would be the next single during the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, when Swift chose that track over other songs from 1989 to perform alongside "Blank Space."

Speculation about Swift promoting "Style" also were fueled from a Billboard article published on Dec. 17. In the Hot 100 story, the music industry publication noted that sources indicated that "Style" would be the next single, after the No. 1 track "Blank Space" had run its course.

And, to just add further fuel to the fire, Swift's Big Machine Records label head Scott Borchetta noted that "Style" would be his choice for the third 1989 promo track in a fan Twitter Q&A yesterday (Dec. 28).

We imagine that the head of Swift's label will have a little bit of a say in what her next single will be, wouldn't you?

No official announcement regarding Swift's "Blank Space" follow-up has been made, however. And with "Blank Space" riding high, it could be a while until "Style" sees its time of day.
