Angie Miller tweeted today, July 15, to let her fans know that she will be releasing a sneak peak of her upcoming song, 'Put It On Me,' in the next couple of days.

"Get pumped for a sneak peak of my new song #PutItOnMe in the next few days =D," she tweeted.

On July 2, she tweeted a preview of the lyrics to the new song which state, "The weight's too much, so give it all up. You can put it on me now. Don't carry that weight, alone. You can put it on me!"

Back in June she also tweeted the lyrics to another one of her upcoming songs, 'Shatter,' which read, "It's my passion I believe in, tell me you can hear it, I want you to need it... It's time to break the glass and all that holds me back is gonna shatter!"

Miller has spent most of her time either rehearsing for her upcoming American Idol tour, which begins on July 19, or writing new music. She has collaborated with artists such as Toby Gad, Autumn Rowe, Adam Watts, Gannin Arnold and Andy Dodd on some of her new songs.

In a pre-tour interview with Fox 5, Miller explained what she has been up to lately. "I got to go home for a little bit, enjoy some time, and it's just been a lot of fun," she said. "I've been here in L.A. for a while, just writing with different writers and coming up with songs for my future album and I'm really excited about them, so I can't wait to release them one day."

As for the tour itself, Miller said she's really excited for that as well. "I can't wait for us all to meet all of the fans, I mean, they got us where we are," she said. "We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them so I'm excited to see them and just to perform songs without being judged by the four judges standing in front of us, full songs, like it's going to be awesome!"

Miller said that her set on tour will include a piano and she will be performing her original song, 'You Set Me Free,' for fans. "And then just lots of fun songs that we can all dance to and have a good time," she added.

The tour begins on July 19, in Kent, Washington at 7:30 p.m. in the Showare Center and will run through until August 31, in Nashville, Tennessee at 7:30 p.m. on the Brigestone Arena. It will be stopping in various states throughout the U.S. and Canada, and will be bringing fans music from their favorite American Idol finalists from Season 12.

"Guys, we are so excited for tour. We have been working and rehearsing hard and we can't wait to meet you all!" Miller said. She also suggested that fans follow their favorite artists on twitter and get connected in order to stay updated on tour progress, new music and more.
